Order to set up local complaint committee

The district administration has ordered to form a local complaints committee to undergo investigation for the sexual harassment of women cases. In Tirupur, women from other states and districts are staying and working. For this, Business enterprises are running  hostels.  Private enterprises and factories operating hostels must be registered with the District Social Welfare Office with the relevant documents. A local grievance committee should be set up to investigate sexual harassment of women cases. In government, private companies and hostels employing more than 10 persons, such a grievance committee should be set up and its details should be sent as a report. The district administration has announced that the district social welfare office can be contacted for more details.
